This half-day forum is aimed at providing valuable information to the public, decision-makers and planners that will help to inform ongoing Official Plan Reviews throughout Peterborough County and City. Participants will hear 

  • Steve Duff, Chief Economist with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs
  • Bryan Weir, Director of Planning, County of Peterborough
  • City of Peterborough Planning Department staff
  • presentations on research into food and agriculture in the City and County, including the Food Charter adopted by the Board of Health and Sustainable Peterborough

There will be an opportunity for discussion and community feedback to inform the priorities of decision-makers, especially important in this election year.
